Splash Jam-This is our annual summer kick-off block party and safety-awareness event! It has been named the biggest water gunfight of the year! Slash Jam is where we show the youth there are other options! Workshops, set up, materials, clean-up, ticketing, directing, interacting, and just having as much fun and you can imagine! We need you for it all!
Youth Through The Years
Youth Through the Years Program(Mentoring)-Everyone needs help! Here is where you shine, give someone the gift of a friend, a brother, a sister, or just listen. Our youth through the years program is where you partner with a younger sibling for at least 8 hours a month, giving them an experience of a lifetime. Our goal is to stop crime and empower, and as a youth through the years, mentoring you will be an integral part of making that a reality! You will be the face of The Fountain City Difference Project!
Tutoring
Tutoring (English math, science, history)-Empowerment in every aspect of life is what we are! Are you a Math genius, a Science Wiz Kid? A history Bluff? Or is sentence structure more your speed? If so, we need YOU to help change the lives of students challenged in these areas!
Camp Camp Counselor
Summer Camp Counselor-What are you doing this summer? Being a Camp Counselor? OMG, US TOO!! How do you like the sound of smores’ singalongs, dance parties, and some awesome friends? Well, if that sounds like your jam, you are the camp counselor we need! Our summer camp programs are four weeks long for 8 hours a day, even on Saturdays!! Because who doesn’t LOVE a good Saturday party? We have three classes (Pre-Teens 7-12, Teens-13-14, Young Adults 15-17!

Youth Retreat
Youth Retreat -As our focus remains to empower YOUth with choices, we want to show them there are choices outside of the city and within! We will select a destination that will engulf their culture, experiences, heritage, and life with our youth retreats! These retreats are meant to be a time where they can hang out with their peers and enjoy being kids without the world’s pressures! This is a time for them to get away, learn, and cultivate lasting relationships that will carry them for the rest of their lives. To do that, we need YOU! We need you to be a part of their Youth retreat experience! Help us plan, help us teach, support, guide, and listen! Our youth retreats are one weeklong and happen once a quarter.

Seminar Leaders
Seminar Leaders-Do you have some career opportunities that you need to fill? What about some excellent internships? Well, we need seminar leaders, and you sound like a GREAT leader! Join us!
As we are focused on empowering the youth in every area possible, help us set them up for success with a college readiness seminar, a work-study seminar, or financial literacy seminar. High school students love money and what better way to empower them than to equip them with the proper tools just as they are about to take on the world!

Sports Coaches
Sports Coaches-Volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, softball, and more! We need YOU and your skills! Empowering our youth with choices is all about giving them an outlet for fun. What better way for youth to build life skills and develop teamwork foundations than being part of a sports team! So, if you have a passion for inspiring the youth through sports, join us, and let’s give them the choices they deserve!
Fun-Raising Staff
Fundraising Staff-It’s no secret that FUN-raising is the BEST part of our organization! Sometimes we just need help! So, where are the event planners, organizers, fundraising specialists, financial gurus, and money-making machines? Oh, that’s you? AWESOME, join us! To be a success, we need as much help as possible. There will never be a shortage of children that deserve options. There will never be a child that shouldn’t have a choice because of their circumstances, so help us provide those opportunities; the village it takes to raise the children can’t happen without YOU!

Volunteer Recruitment-We need the people who can get us the people. Are you the person who knows the people! Need we say more! We are adding programs regularly, and we need hands to help us operate them and ensure their success. Can you help us find them?
Workshop Volunteers
Workshop Volunteers-Self Defense, Gun Safety, and Domestic Violence Education. Although these are our signature workshops and focus, we are regularly looking to add and develop new areas in the lives of our city’s youth, so suggestions are always welcomed! These workshops are the basis for youth education, and we must have the right people for the experience. We want to ensure that our youth are receiving the information vital to their empowerment in a way that is relatable yet fun, impactful yet effective, and easy yet essential! Is that YOU?
